Blake is a writer and filmmaker born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Inspired by their own personal experiences, Blake writes what they see: American life with all of its comedy and cruelty. Coming from a background in sociology and museum studies, Blake believes that context is everything when it comes to storytelling and what makes a character; and they welcome the conflict that arises in their characters’ culturally rich worlds.

They are currently pursuing an MFA in Cinema Arts at Feirstein Graduate School of Film in Brooklyn.
